RETURN AND WARRANTY POLICY
Xilinmen AB (Kitchen Machine)
Applies to sales to businesses (B2B)
1. General
This return and warranty policy applies to sales of meat slicers to traders (“the buyer”) from Xilinmen AB 559013-3251, hereinafter referred to as the “seller”.
All transactions are carried out in accordance with the Swedish Sales Act (1990:931), as the sale is between businesses. The Swedish Consumer Sales Act (1990:932) does not apply.
2. Delivery and transfer of risk
When the goods have been handed over to the shipping company, the risk for the goods is considered to have passed to the buyer in accordance with Section 10 of the Swedish Sales Act.
Any transport damage, losses or delays after delivery are the responsibility of the buyer and the shipping company.
The buyer must inspect the goods upon receipt and immediately report any visible transport damage to the carrier.
3. Warranty
Only the machine's motor is covered by the warranty from Xilinmen AB.
Warranty period: one (1) year from the invoice date.
The warranty only covers manufacturing defects in the motor.
The warranty does not apply to:
Defects caused by incorrect assembly, cleaning, electrical connection or use.
Damage caused during transport, or due to external influences.
Lack of maintenance, normal wear and tear or consumable parts (e.g. knives, gaskets, belts).
Xilinmen AB reserves the right to examine the motor before a decision on warranty action is made.
In the event of an approved warranty action, the seller may, at its own discretion, repair or replace the motor with an equivalent part.
All warranty actions are carried out by the seller in good faith and in addition to statutory obligations under the Swedish Sales Act.
4. Return conditions
Returns are only accepted after written approval from Xilinmen AB.
Return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Returned goods must be in unused and undamaged condition in the original packaging.
Unapproved returns or goods without correct documentation will be returned at the buyer's expense.
5. Complaints
Complaints about defects must be made without delay, but no later than within 10 days of receipt, according to Section 32 of the Swedish Purchase Act.
The buyer must state the nature of the defects and attach photographic documentation.
If the complaint concerns transport damage, the report must first be made to the shipping company.
6. Limitation of liability
The seller's liability is limited to what is expressly stated in this policy.
The seller is not liable for indirect damages such as loss of production, downtime, lost profits or consequential damages, according to Section 67 of the Swedish Purchase Act.
Any repairs or measures carried out outside of warranty are voluntary and do not imply that Xilinmen AB assumes future liability in similar cases.
7. Applicable law and dispute resolution
The policy is governed by Swedish law, in particular the Sales Act (1990:931).
Disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be settled by a Swedish general court, with Karlskrona District Court as the first instance.
